RAYS has been founded by Nicola Di Pietro. After an outstanding academic career, covering nutritional sciences and food science & technology, 15 years of professional experience in those fields, numerous effective scientific intuitions, and the insistence of faculty members, classmates, colleagues, customers, employers, and friends that he dedicate himself to research, he decided that 2019 is the year to start an exclusive journey: put scientific research at people’s disposal and provide a structure that will act as a point of reference for scientific advising.
Nicola Di Pietro holds a University Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree in dietetics, first-class honors, and a College Advanced Diploma in Food Science Technology, with honors. He has worked as a Registered Dietitian (in Italy) and as a Nutritionist (in Canada) for a total of 15 years, with an equally long experience studying dietary supplements and nutraceuticals. He also worked in the food industry as a Quality Control Technician and Quality Assurance Manager for 4 years. Scientific research and intuition are among his main and strongest skills.
